President Barack Obama continues to call for video game moderation as he made his speech to schools around the country today. And getting a special mention yet again is Microsoft's Xbox console.

"I've talked about your teachers' responsibility for inspiring you, and pushing you to learn," said Mr. President.  "I've talked about your parents' responsibility for making sure you stay on track, and get your homework done, and don't spend every waking hour in front of the TV or with that Xbox."

He first made mention of the Xbox in a speech delivered at the 100th Anniversary of the NAACP a couple of months back, which elicited a response from Microsoft. President Obama has also made references to Nintendo's Game Boy and Wii in the past, and eventually got his daughters a Wii for Christmas last year. Sony to come right up next?

Hey, at least he's not saying they're evil.

» meh

just get a ps3

» agreed.

I totally agree. PS3 doesn't have any good games so you won't be playing it instead of doing your school work. If you need a break from video games just buy the PS3, you won't have any games to play. Problem solved.

I don't agree but that was hilarious.

Or you could buy a console that breaks down a lot. Then you'll be forced to study.

Either way its a win-win situation.

I may have voted for you but dont intrude on what we do with our personal lives. There is no sense going to school because Bush screwed things up so badly we cant find jobs any more and in order to get "tech" help you have to talk to a dot head...thank you republican idea of running a country by letting the actual people in your country starve but its ok to pay a arab 2$ an hr funny thing is you dont see a penny from them...the idea about the economy and the way things are ran is just ridiculous and retarded
