Bungie has recently upgraded to brand-spanking new servers to not only boost the online experience of Halo 2 but to brace itself for the upcoming technical marvel Halo 3 in both its beta and completed forms.

The transition period from the old to the new servers did not generally affect the online community in irksome ways. There were some Minor issues such as unviewable rankings but the action and the fun never really faltered.

Bungie said that the new servers are working well as they have expected. The Halo 3 beta will run on this machine and later on, Halo 3 itself. This will allow both the gamers and the developers to catch some glitches and deal with them to ensure that the final product will be the masterpiece that everyone expects.

Stat servers. Blah. For a company that forces players to pay for online play, they should host games on their servers!

I don't care who's servers it's on, as long as those servers work and are fast.
