Sacred 2: Fallen Angel
(Xbox 360, PC) is set to become one of the biggest action RPGs when it hits the shelves early next year. For now, we've got snippets of info about some of the six unique character classes that will be playable in the game - the Dryad, Seraphim, High Elf, Inquisitor, Temple Guardian and Shadow Warrior.

Of the two available campaigns, Light and Shadow, the Seraphim is exclusive to the former while the Inquisitor to the latter. The rest have the choice of becoming heroes to save the world, or villains to wreak havoc.

Mounts in the game are no mere means of transportation. Adventure and combat differ greatly when mounted, with access to devastating mounts that should give players an edge.

The Seraphim, also known as Fallen Angels, side with the forces of light. They can use their wings as weapons or as protective armor. The tiger, a fast and powerful mount, is available only to these divine babes.

Shadow Warriors are melee fighters brought back to life and trained by High Elves. Players who will choose these grunts can fight for the liberation of Ancaria, or live the path of one who seeks ultimate power. Along with the hellhound, a Shadow Warrior and his mount can trample anyone in the way.

Ascaron Entertainment promises to bring more information to the table prior to the Sacred 2's release. We'll keep you posted, so watch this space.
