Over at the NeoGAF forums, Blimblim has posted five new screenshots from BioWare's upcoming Xbox 360 title Mass Effect (six, actually, but you've already seen the Quarian chick in our earlier post). Check 'em out.
In this third-person RPG, players take on the role of Commander Shepard, who must lead a squad of freedom fighters in the fight against a legendary agent gone rogue. The game is set 200 years into the future, with gamers struggling to bring peace to a vast galactic community land threatened by the encroaching armies of the aforementioned rogue agent, whose face actually reminds us of Hordak.
While there's been some confusion on when Mass Effect will hit stores (is it Q1 or Q2?), what we do know is that it'll be coming out this year, and frankly, we just can't wait.

whatever, xbox 1.5 grafix wont look nething like that when the game comes out. maybe if i was dun on the ps3, the best comsole. loozers ahahaha PS3 FTW oh yea i herd that halo3 is gonna be released on all comsoles so why even bye a 360 now? ps3 is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He cant even spell hardly an ambassador for the PS3 is he?, I mean really. Anyway the game looks amazing far better than screen shots I recently saw of a PS3 future release which had hardly any color in it, it was called metalbeard4 or something like that. Halo 3 coming to the PS3 ! you have more chance of the PS3 selling well in March than that ever happening.

They are pretty much cooling down. Microsoft played a huge risk bringing GoW too quick. Now every new game coming out for the Xbox360 looks like garbage in comparison. Not even halo3 can come close to GoW. Its one of those things thats gonna bring reviews down. Because people have seen what the Xbox360 can do, and rate down other games that dont keep up to it.

PS3 people are constantly on the offensive these days and it makes sense. The system is doing very poorly, and even the developers have voiced their opinions. ( Valve Software President, coming right out and calling the system a failure. ) Its like all those people spent all that money on the PS3 and did zero research. Did any PS3 fan ever consider the success of the PS2 being entirely related to the fact that is was out way before the others? Yea, now even though you have to support the new grill you just bought, you feel the downfall and it hurts. But hey, its important to know hardware developers and software creators can depend on the retards who do zero research to make some money from.

I agree with you and when you read the total nonsense Vietone has posted here it just makes you realize how well the 360 is doing, and One PS3 owner got so excited about some PREVIEW of the old game Oblivion because after all this time the PS3 has shinier graphics LOL I mean its only taken a year longer.But the thing was he actually went round even 1st posting that PS3 preview of a now very old 360 game on news about hardware etc...LOL LOL..

Also Crackdown a great game on its own but coming with the Halo 3 Beta for FREE and all just before the PS3 launch is pure brilliance, just as was the timing of Gears.
Mass Effect looks like another massive hit for the 360 it looks amazing.

Gears of War came out just the right time. Vietone acts like that's the best the XBOX 360 can offer. If any past system peaked graphically one year after release, it would be a failure. It just doesn't happen. Let's see how it compares to the PS3's games around september. My bet is about the same quality. PS3 will average about one year behind the XBOX 360 with most games. That's the way it's been so far at least.
I wasn't going to post anything, but I had to adress this: Did any PS3 fan ever consider the success of the PS2 being entirely related to the fact that is was out way before the others? Now that would be right except the fact that the PS2 killed the Dreamcast, which came out first by the way. No research,huh. It would be like me bying a new game console that uses the same media disk (DVD) as a system from 5 years ago, yeah that's next gen. By the way what are all those xboys doing on the PS3 blog, if what you say about jealousy is true, those *****es are mad as hell. How much research did the dumbasses who bought the xbox360 core system do? Or what about the peole who bought that HDDVD add-on? Will they buy a BLu-ray add-on in two years?
