The fight is on full throttle. With the E3 drawing ever closer and the big face-off between the two new motion technologies being offered by Microsoft and Sony respectively, the LA event is definitely going to make or break Natal or Sony. Edging out on the race today is Project Natal as new footage of it at work is released to the public.

It's eleven minutes long of pure Natal action, which was recorded at a recent demo. Check it out and see how it satisfies your curiosity thus far.

this face-off should be terribly exciting! let's hope it's not gonna be anti-climactic.

every time they show off natal theres always a delay in actual movement and on screen. seems like it would mess you up on any game needing quick reflexes.

title is missleading, she talks about 8 minutes and they show the game for about 3 minutes. It was really awkward to watch the whole thing. But yea, the whole thing doesn't impress me at all. Come on, show us more games!

All they have been doing so far is hitting balls, you can do that with nearly any camera on computer. I know, it tracks in 3D but they aren't really showing anything that uses this 3D techonology in a good way.

It's going be interesting to see what Microsoft brings to E3. Nothing will silence the rabid PS3 fanboys though. They are just pathetic.

this was terrible. 8 minutes or so of babbling and 3 minutes of the same old ball hitting sh1t that was shown a year ago. What have they been doing for the last year? And there can't be more than 1 person at a time in the cameras view otherwise it gets confused?? NATAL will get raped at E3

I don't understand the hype for this at all. It's been a year now and the best they've shown is smacking red balls. If they price this at 150 and don't offer anything better than stupid mini games, nobody is buying it. Also, renaming it this late seems dumb. Everyone got on Sony for not naming their controler earlier but now that seemed like the right move (no pun intended), not name it until your ready. If they really name it Wave I think that sounds way to similar to Move.

From behind you can't see it, but look at those side shots; they're standing like half a mile away from the TV screen.
Why bother with HD if can barely see the fucking screen?

We are gamers, our eyesight sucks, design shit that you can play whilst your nose is getting burnt from the screen.

Natal is definatly going to get raped at E3 they keep saying its so awesome but any time u see it demoed its the same dumbass ball game why not show of some shooters or some shit and the fucking thing lags. Playstation is going to definatly going to surpass them in the motion control war. They cant even show us a cool game and the thing comes out in in less than 6 months or at least thats why they say i dont believe it. Sony has sold me but the 360 is just not doing it.. :zzz

whats REALLY funny is that they have had this similar technology at the Pacific science Center in Seattle for over 10 years now! You would stand in front of a green screen and 3 cameras would track your movements and your character on the big screen would mimic your moves. They had a basketball game and a karate fighting game if I can recall. I don't know if it is still there, but i do know Microsoft had a hand in it's development and implementation. It seems that they are trying to bring this to the home. but I personally think it will be a huge Fail.

this looks soo awkward. "the future of fun"?
that is not a future i want to be a part of. Im sure all 360 owners will run to the store and buy one though...thats what leads to more releases of crap like this.
Im not a fan of motion gaming but i have to say wii pwns natal.
