Bioshock to recieve new game patch - Image 1

It appears that Take-Two Interactive is readying another patch update for Irrational Games' BioShock title for the Xbox 360 and PC. The report we're picking this up from indicates that the company's recruiting community playtesters to try the new patch out.  Given that Take-Two gagged this topic with an NDA, however, that's pretty much all we have to go on for the moment.

As you guys may recall, BioShock received a surprise patch update just last month. And while this patch was expected to help smooth out the game's performance, there were also reports coming in that it instead created more bugs - game lag being among the worst of the ailments. We'll let you know if any more details arrive fro this new patch in development. Hey, at least you know it's coming.

PLEASE!!! Love this game. Didn't get lagged from the patch like a few I know who did. But the denizens of the city did get a bit smarter... noticed more with the health stations. Wonder what fixes this might be for.

Only XBOX got a Patch. PC Gamers are waiting since more then 6 Weeks for the first "patch". And for A LOT of People, without the Patch, is no way to play the Game because of Crash Isses, Sound Issues, Start Issues, Visual Issues.. in other Words, a Hell lot of People are waiting since the Lauch to play the Game, and its going for more then 6 weeks now..

Its really "nice", after all this Time, that 2K finally make an Oficial Public Statement.

I didn't start seeing lag of pauses until I started palying the game in HD resolution (720p)

now I get 1 - 2 second pause every 20 seconds. REALLY annoying, but doesn't quite make the game unplayable.

I just hope that the patch gets released before I beat the game, LOL!!

whatever, now that I actually have a decent HD capable display, i wouldn;t mind replaying a few games as its sweet to get the enitre game experience in HD.

I have never suffered any lag? I have also done the update as I have no choice. No update you are signed out of xbox live. After the update I experienced no issues of lag or glitches. Now I cannot imagine that I am the only person on the planet with a perfect copy. I sympathize with those that do have issues but feel that as we are using the 360 where the hardware should be the same? This leads me to believe that there are subtle changes made to the 360 console by MS that maybe the cause of some problems.
