Two Worlds, by TopWare Interactive, is a RPG similar to Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion that is coming out this year. Like Oblivion, Two Worlds features a beautiful graphics engine that will let you explore an open world that's alive with monsters and adventure, and you'll choose to be good or evil as you chart your own path. The main difference is Two Worlds uses the combat system similar to KOTOR and has the freedom of Fallout to deliver its quality role playing experience. The game takes its name from the fact that its fantasy world is divided into two. It seems like the Xbox 360 will be getting a bunch of this genre of games and here are some more screenshots of the game to prove that Oblivion will not be the only open ended RPG on the box.

Go ahead and click on the thumbnails to get a better look and give us your thoughts about the game.

Oblivion was fantastic! Bring on the Oblivion clones I say! Only with a better storyline, and more RPG-ness to it, i.e not for the average consumer. Which, sadly, probably won't happen. Oh well, this game still looks awesome!

I wouldn't say it looks worse or better then Oblivion. I mean some textures look better, some don't. The lighting is near the same, but Oblivion's seemed a little cleaner. The detail of the areas seem to have more thought and time put into them. In the end, it looks on par.

And that's a wonderful thing. :D

As far as a KOTOR style combat system...well...I wasn't that big of a fan of it. It was mainly the story in KOTOR 1 that got me hooked to that game. (Forget KOTOR 2, I felt depressed playing that one lol)

It's so nuts that to think only a decade ago, a lot of us were still playing 2-D side scrollers on the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo. Then you get games like Oblivion and Two Worlds, and it just blows you away. It really makes you wonder what the next generation will bring.
