More Eternal Sonata combat goodness: Battle Action trailer

Just a couple more days to go before Tri-Crescendo's Eternal Sonata will finally arrive on North American shelves. If you're still unconvinced that Chopin's deathbed makes for a perfect RPG setting, then here's a gameplay video showing how much action can happen inside the magnificent composer's mind.

Thanks to the power of Microsoft's Xbox 360, the combat is fluid even while spectacular effects explode on screen. Some would say Japanese RPGs can only go so far when it comes to over-the-top attacks and spells, but to see is to believe. It's difficult not to be excited after seeing Eternal Sonata's flare and insane combos.

mmm...

looks helluva lot better than the flopped Blue Dragon. maybe namcobandai can make a stand in the RPG ring w/ this game. still it's not SquareEnix so we shall see...
