Fable III may have yet to hit retail stores but Peter Molyneux is already reassuring fans that this won't be the last that you'll see of the franchise. Simply put, they're not happy with the word 'trilogy', and there is no way they will be confining themselves to the definition of that term.
In a recent interview with Gamerzines, the Lionhead Studios executive was quoted as saying, "Forget about the word 'trilogy'. I hate limiting ourselves to a trilogy. I want you to feel that you're on a journey in Fable, and I'm going to tell you what happense at the end of Fable III but I don't thin you'll feel in any way that you've reached the end of a trilogy."
That's not an outright confirmation that a fourth one is already in the works, but that's definitely a reassurance that there will be one. Fable III is set to come out next week for the Xbox 360 while the PC version's release is still being speculated on.
