Molyneux: Fable III won't get Kinect at launch

But we thought Fable III will be sporting Kinect support at launch? Apparently, this is not going to be the case, this according Lionhead's Peter Molyneux.

Speaking on the Engadget show, Molyneux revealed that no such Kinect functionality will be made available to Fable III at launch. It doesn't mean, however, that it will not be coming at all. Just that it might come in a bit later.

Microsoft PR, for their part, doesn't seem to be aware of Molyneux' recent stand on the matter, as they maintained that they are in fact a strong supporter of Kinect. They could not give specifics as to how the technology will fit into the whole scheme of things for Fable III yet, though.

The kinect options will be added on to a game that has been in design for a while now. Then they do that, the game will feel like it was tagged on. (kinda like the multi-player option in Fable 2) that was one heck of a mess. MOLYNEUX... JUST MAKE A GREAT GAME... just because Kinect is available doesn't mean you have to add it to your games. I personally will NOT get Kinect (I already have a wii)

sounds good I guess.... as long as it's not like fable 2 with that whole beta unpolished feel it had
