Missile Command now on Xbox Live

Atari has announced that one of their classic titles, Missile Command, has finally launched onto the Xbox Live Arcade. Missile Command for the XBLA brings with it the same gaming sights, sounds and action of the 1980 original along with a new "evolved" version.

Both the classic and evolved versions put players in charge of protecting cities from alien missile attacks. The evolved version features enhanced graphics and 3d rendered vistas, and the game supports all Xbox 360 high definition resolutions up to 1080p as well as full-screen anti-aliasing and digital surround sound for one heck of a missile-busting experience.

Missile Command offers 12 Xbox Live achievements. Players can also get bragging rights by posting their highest scores on the online leader boards.
