Following the recent speculation that the Xbox Live Maintenance will usher in the Halo 3 Beta, we just came across some more breaking news from On10.net's Larry Larsen. They're going to be bringing everyone some exclusive footage of some announcements that Microsoft is about to make. One of which happens in just a few minutes from now:Two of the coolest Microsoft announcements since CES are going to be breaking tonight and tomorrow night, and we have exclusive video for both of them. So if you are online at 9:00PM PST tonight (midnight on the east coast) check in to get a full scoop on what your friends will be talking about tomorrow. And the same goes for tomorrow night, stop by at 9PM PST to see the first official look at a very cool announcement.
You can make of it whatever you want - try to speculate as much as you can. General opinion holds that these two announcements could be regarding the Halo 3 beta or the Elite 360. Other people are also clamoring for info about the 120GB HDD and the supposed HDMI support. All we got to say though is that... well... until those Microsoft announcements happen, it's anyone guess.
What we do know is that the next 48 hours or so would be as wild as heck for Microsoft and the 360 market. Keep your eyes glued to QJ for more updates.

no halo 3 just more halo 2 maps, no elite just a 120 gb hdd that costs 200 dollars.
New halo 2 maps were confirmed a long time ago, so doubt it's that....

the EXTRA 100 dollars?? after already dropping 500? if youre using that logic then you could buy a 360 for 300, buy the 120 gig for 180 and itll still be cheaper than ps3. i dont see how anyone would have any EXTRA money after already spending 500

how is this suppose 2 compeat against the ps3?
every ps3 comes with hdmi as std ( ok hdmi cable in the uk is about £8 on ebay big deal) and we can upgrade the hdd to a 200gb for less than the 120gb 360 drive cost.
i think this is a gd deal for some one who is just moveing to the xbox seen. o wait most ppl already bought a 360 so now they have 2 waist more money on a crap console only coz mic can get it right the 1st time. lol and i like the fact that it comes pre loaded with loads of bull crap. the ps3 is not out yet. just wait a few more months and u will soon see ppl swithcing to the ps3 due to the fact the 360 has hardware issues like freezeing and 3 red lights?
mic should be spending there time re designing the 360 ie better cooling and not bring another ticking time bomb
