360 to surpass all-time Xbox 1 sales - Image 1By the end of November, Microsoft expects the Xbox 360's install base to exceed 25 million, effectively going past the lifetime sales of the original Xbox.  Quite a landmark, but Microsoft said that it's "only a start."

Microsoft's Mindy Mount, CFE of the Xbox business, says that "more than three-quarters" of a console's sales falls to the sweet spot of US$ 199, which is the current price of the Arcade. And I thought they were just desperate for people to stop noticing LittleBigPlanet.

According to their numbers, the recent 360 price cut kicked Xbox 360 sales up 42% month-on-month in the US, 62% in Europe, and 500% in Japan. Now the question is, can they keep this up?

Well, i don't know if they can keep this up on the future but they have sold a high number of consoles already on the past 2 months. Isn't this proof enough already? When all this started people were like:

Give it a week and it will all come back to "normal".

It has been 2 months already, so ya...
