The Xbox 360 - Image 1Following the price cut of the Xbox 360 for the US, Microsoft went strangely silent on the European front, commenting only that the announcement for the cut "was specifically around pricing in the US. We have not announced any pricing changes in Europe."

All SKUs for the 360 has recently been treated to a price cut, an expected response following Sony's own for the PlayStation 3. However, it's still unclear whether they choose to follow the path Sony took or something similar when they introduced a starter pack instead of a price cut for Europe.

A formal announcement on Microsoft's plans for Europe is expected for the Leipzig Game Convention on August 23.

So much for the love MS. Try a doing a universal price cut. Wow this is bad for MS, a price cut was needed in Australia or Japan. Not the U.S. Impressive MS cares only for it self.

Wow i can see it now, Sony a universal price cut globally while they don't.
