xboxMicrosoft feels the heat of the competition as concerns have flown around over the alleged sales dip of the Xbox 360 due to the launch of Nintendo's and Sony's game consoles. Netvine rumors say that Taiwan based Xbox 360 manufacturer Wistron has alerted financial analysts in Taipei of the coming slowdown and is now preparing to slow production of the MS console.

While it has not been disclosed by just how much the slowdown will be, Vnunet.com, the source who has purportedly seen the confidential documents revealing the bad news for Xbox 360, suggested that Microsoft is already trying to keep its head above the competition by planning to have a price cut on the Xbox 360. This way, it could be the solution for the said console's competitive edge in the market.

In the meantime, Wistron has not yet released an official statement on its sales forecasts for the Xbox 360.

XBOX360 CONSTANTLY FREEZES & POOR CS SUPPORT!

MS should be! They built a console that has problems and are trying to cover it up by engaging in public events, *smiling* a lot, and dumping large sums of money into advertising and new launch areas. Remeber the Life cereal comercial, "Lets get Mikey! He'll eat it, he'll eat anything.". Now the MS version, "Lets get South Africa! They'll eat it, they'll eat anything." MS -> The word is out. THE 360 HAS SERIOUS PROBLEM! And no amount of paid advertising will cover up the fire on the internet about the 360 freezing problems.

Take Care of your XBoX

HAHAHA!!! Your an idiot if you think the CS is bad on Microsoft's part. You actually think the PS3 will launch without failure. Get a grip. I am on my second XBox and have had NO problems with it. I sent mine off and had a new one in 6 days. Go drop 8 gazillion dollars and see what the PS3 does for you.

this is gay

why does everyone insist that the 360 will do well after the ps3 and wii are out? nobody wants it now....why would people want it later..... i would drop 8 gazillion dollars...because thats what i did for the playstation and playstation 2 and i THINK it was worth it....

yes i'm bringing it up

you fanboys are out of control. give it a rest okay all systems will do well none will go out of buisness and all three will make another console come 5-6 years from now. thank you #4 for pointing out that it's just what you 'think' but to go ahead and still bash away is kind of silly. Nobody wants it now even though they are selling and still selling. Sure it's not a crazy propotion but still a sale is a sale. Now yes ps3 will sell well and yes I do believe the wii will sell well to I for one already have the 360 and will get the other two hopefully at launch for the both of them. but come on fanboys shut up and get a grip

Lame Post

This article is pretty lame. All systems will ramp up in the coming months as demand over the holidays skyrockets. Christmas is coming and there is no way in hell they are going to slow the production of Xbox 360s! Not only is Christmas coming but if the PS3 and Wii launch with 800 K units then there will be a HUGE shortage of PS3's and Wii's. Think about it, every system pretty much sells out at launch and 800 is a low number to launch with in North America. So they sell out and people still want video games so they get what's left. The same thing happened when Xbox 360 came out. After selling out, people ran to buy PS2s and sales for the PS2 skyrocketed. All this is assuming everyone is waiting to buy a PS3 or Wii and not a 360. That's not true. There are plenty of people that given all three choices would want the Xbox 360. So, I just think this article is wrong. fritzilla
