Microsoft pushes further for X360-Vista connection |

Microsoft has always been transparent when it comes to its "further connected experience" campaign. Headlining this strategy is the apparent compatibility between operating system Windows Vista and the Xbox 360. It would even be remembered a couple of days ago that the company announced that Xbox Live service will also be available for Vista this coming summer.Anyway, we guess you are all familiar with Geometry Wars and its appearance on Vista. Microsoft admitted that they are indeed pushing for these things - simultaneous games releases for both platforms. It was no less than the Director for the Windows Gaming Business Rick Wickham himself who indicated that a number of PC and Xbox 360 titles will launch at the same time this year.
Despite this statement, Wickham added that this decision is essentially left to individual third party developers. Furthermore, the Microsoft official attended a Games for Windows event held in San Francisco the other day and explained how gaming has influenced the development of the new OS. He reiterated that design decisions were primarily driven by gaming and DirectX.
Quite interestingly, a number of titles were on display during the said event including Flagship Studio's Hellgate: London. Now, if these are indications, then rumors about the game coming to the console may be correct after all.
