Richard TevershamWe earlier featured an article about the sweet nothings of MS' Richard Teversham for the Nintendo Wii and the Sony PS3. Well, he has more jib-jabs to say to the competition. According to this guy, Microsoft is prepping some harmless spoiler tactics in anticipation for its competitor's console launches.

When asked for specific plans and antics, he said, "I don't want to reveal any plans at the moment because we want to keep a number of surprises up our sleeve...We will ensure we are good value and we'll do that through having a variety of pricing on games, a variety of pricing on console offers." If you're thinking that one of those spoilers would be a price drop, well we're very sorry, but that's not gonna happen as Teversham himself ruled that possibility out too.

But it seems that the marketing manager's statements imply of a revamping of the current Xbox 360 bundles maybe by amping them with additional accessories or games. The HD-DVD drive add-on would definitely go ma-no a ma-no with the Blu-Ray equipped PS3, but until no official details are announced, all we could do is speculate. But certainly, the next-gen console wars may get dirty, and dirty is almost always interesting.

This guy is still talking bull S***. They're trying so hard because they are afraid of Sony and they know it. They can't hide this November.

» f u ck you

yo your mad dumb ,developers lov the cell ,but its taking them along time to get use to it!!! thats what makes the ps3 better than 360its unqiue ,

Nothing has been proven only speculation. So no fu's allowed. ps3 is not unqiue they're just pushing for thier new tech to be "The One" As far as devs saying that it's hard or not to make ps3 games it's just one mouth vs. the other mouth. So no it's not an fu matter just yet. MS is just planning some marketing ploys to move the 360 into more hands well all the systems are out.

» price drop?

Why do people keep mentioning a price drop on the Xbox 360? How long was PS2 sold for $300 before there was a price drop? Like 3 years!

Oh, how sad for Sony fanboys. They have nothing to do this summer vacation but constantly refresh PS3/PSP news sites and troll this and the Wii page. I honestly feel for them.

I am having a great time using my PSP. I love all the homebrew apps, playing games like Valkyrie Profile Lenneth and reading the great news on these sites. Loads of fun, really.

... Halo 3, the HD-DVD, and a price drop.

Whoopie...

Until Sony and Nintendo 'put up', Microsoft won't 'shut up'. I want to see MS competitive in the gaming market, but just flapping their jaw with smack on Nintendo and Sony isn't going to sell their consoles. After all, after 10 years of Sony, gamers can smell BS. And I'm calling it on MS.

» Wow

So Microsoft actually have more suprises. Does those surprise involve coughing over more of your money? You know, like the HD-DVD add-on that should have been there in the first place, but Microsoft purposely didn't put it in so that now it can charge all the Xbox fanboys even more money for an add-on that won't even be use for games. Or those other suprises, oh wait, there is no other suprises. Lol.

PS1 Emulator for psp coming out in the fall

» Exactly!!!

#10 is absolutely right. If they put the HD-DVD add on in the console they would have sold it cheaper than buying it separately. All those 360 add-ons add up to a price on par or higher than the PS3 when those same add-ons are in the PS3 already. So why is everyone B******* about the price of the PS3? It's because they can't see potential and change. They are tired of Sony's dominance but I hate to tell all those 360 fans out there that Sony's dominance won't end anytime soon. Microsoft is afraid. If they weren't then they would concentrate on their own matters, and just shut the F*** up.

» My Bad!!

Sorry for the second post but I mean't #9. My fault.

» wait wait wait

MS add on is not bad. It's good to have a seperate drive for movies so I my way I'm not gonna wear out the gameing drive by watching movies. Oh and the games already support HD for the tv's so why would you need to use the hd-dvd add on for games. Answer you don't. And why is an add-on bad? Who we trying to fool. Sony is the king and almightly of add-ons so don't kid yourself
