Lost Odyssey bundle - Image 1Japan may not exactly be the Microsoft Xbox 360's sweet-selling spot, but that isn't stopping its makers from dishing out great deals to encourage sales. This time, Microsoft teams up with Seven-Eleven (7-Eleven) to bring Japanese gamers the Lost Odyssey Xbox 360 Bundle.

Tagged at 39,880 Yen (approximately US$ 348), the Microsoft Xbox 360 Lost Odyssey Bundle comes with Mistwalker's latest RPG along with Western-developed games Forza Motorsport 2 and Viva Piñata. It's cheaper by some 2,000 Yen (approximately US$ 17) compared to buying the console and Lost Odyssey separately.

The Xbox 360 Lost Odyssey Bundle also stacks up very well against the Japanese 40GB Sony PlayStation 3 as it's 100 yen cheaper than its rival.

The choice of Mistwalker's Lost Odyssey as the bundled game is a pretty wise one as it carries the name of revered game creator Hironobu Sakaguchi of the Final Fantasy fame. He's now working with Mistwalker after parting ways with Square Enix.

Pre-orders for this Xbox 360 package are being taken in with a December 4 deadline. Games will be shipped two days after the deadline and should arrive at Japanese doorsteps in a jiffy.
