Jamie Durrant - Image 1A week ago, QJ blogger Glenn wrote about the story of Jamie Durrant, a Lionhead developer who filed a case against Microsoft after the company's HR managers "blatantly disregarded" his complaints about sexual discrimination and homophobic abuse in the office.

It seems the case is history, though, as Pink News reports that Durrant and Microsoft have reached a settlement agreement at an employment tribunal held this week in south London.

The details of the agreement are confidential, but according to a Microsoft rep, part of the agreement states that Durrant will not be continuing his employment at Lionhead. Originally, Durrant was asking for damages worth  £ 45,000 (about US$ 66,000).

Damn Microsoft is getting into a lot of sh** over this kind of stuff lately. Better straighten up (no pun intended).

Microsoft has ALWAYS been having problems. The *****s have been stealing, conning, scamming and everything else for years, it doesnt surprise me they would discriminate too.

Okay? so? we must not upset homosexual's otherwise they march up and down and protest until they get their way. so dumb, he should be happy he's working there. Damn if I did, I wouldn't complain (besides the fact it's lionhead studios and they created a terrible game titled Fable II) but its a video game company. bah whatever

First of all, they just want the same rights and everyone else, unfortunately, they are treated like crap.

I support Jamie Durrant's fight against Microsoft, no-one should be discriminated against.

I'm a straight guy but I support gay rights, they should have the same rights as everyone else.

Just because Jaime is gay, it didn't give his co-workers the right to insult him and call him names. And Microsoft did nothing about it, well, Micro got what they deserve.
