Wanna move to Washington to become a software dev? Microsoft posted an opening for a software development engineer, so aspiring devs might want to check it out. But that's not the meat of the message here, folks. The job opening describes being part of a project that is leaning towards a new Halo title that may be mobile.
Here's an excerpt from the job posting on CareerBuilder.com:
We're looking to blend console, web, and mobile to create an immersive Halo world that follows the dedicated Halo fan wherever they go. We need engineers that can build connected technology while working in a startup environment.
Since Microsoft doesn't have a handheld gaming platform like Sony and Nintendo, can we expect this mobile Halo to be on Windows Mobile? Seeing as they're just hiring for people to help out with the new project, it's gonna be a while before we get any solid details on this new project.
