When you think about it, a simple game like Geometry Wars created by a few developers was able to become a huge success on the XBLA, and Microsoft feels that independent developers can contribute a lot to their downloadable gaming service. this is why microsoft is a great company. i love the fact that they check out forums and ask people what they would like to see on there console. this should be the standard for the video game industry.
Get Gunbound and Rakion on XBLA as well as UT2004. Sure it will boost sales.

Last i checked Sony was first to announce development like that... oh wait.
