A "strategic alliance" between Microsoft and Viacom should lead to more downloadable content for Xbox 360 owners over both the Xbox Live Marketplace and Xbox Live Arcade. This according to video game news website 1UP.
The recently-announced deal will include long and short-form TV shows from Viacom networks, which include MTV and Comedy Central as well as BET, a new addition to the Xbox Live Marketplace. No specific shows have been mentioned so far, though. An influx of films from Viacom's Paramount Pictures will also continue.
Interestingly, the deal also includes Viacom providing downloadable games for Microsoft's casual gaming platforms including Xbox Live Arcade. There have been no details released yet, but they'll most likely be based on Viacom properties.
Got a Viacom property you think would make for a good - or just plain weird - casual game? Leave a comment below and let us know.

After the "Microsoft" Video Game Awards and the stupid Most Addictive Video game Fueled by Dew for Halo (which they were sponsoring a lot, even before halo 3 came out) a partnership with Viacom was more then obvious.
For me they had this partnership already a long time ago with MTV doing special coverage for the Xbox events and other Viacom companies sucking M$ Balls like GameTrailers.
