Grand Theft Auto 4 Xbox 360 PS3 PC - Image 1When we reported about the supposed "free downloadable content" that will be given to those who pre-order the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto 4 (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3), we initially thought that it would be free and exclusive content for the Xbox 360 Grand Theft Auto 4. We might have thought wrong.

There's a possibility that the freebies are not what we think they are, and Xbox 360 fansite XboxFamily claims to know what's in store for those who pre-order GTA4 for the Xbox 360.

Aside from the free gamerpics exclusive only to those who applied for a pre-order, gamers who got their pre-ordered copies from walk-in retail stores will be given a GTA4-themed game case, as well as an exclusive chance to participate in an upcoming giveaway event.

Check out the list of prizes, to help convince you to pre-order the Xbox 360 copy of Grand Theft Auto 4:
  • 100 Xbox 360 Elite consoles
  • 2000 Grand Theft Auto clothing
  • 10,000 MS Points (various amounts, ranging from 500 to 1600 MS Points)
  • 10,000 XBL Gold memberships, good for 1 month to 12 months
Pretty sweet eh? And all you need to do is buying the game before its launch. It may not be the free episodic content that everyone's drooling over, but you have to admit, all that swag is already remarkable. But do take note, everything stated here isn't officially confirmed, so do take this tidbit with a grain of salt.

Wow it's completely different then what I thought...didn't think they'd do a huge contest for pre-ordering a game lol

Microsoft is just pooring as much money into this game as they can. They seem to be very desperate to get the most sales for the game.

Anyway it does sound very interesting.
