Microsoft brings Halo 3 review week to media

Ready for some Master Chief? - Image 1Expect some juicy reviews before Halo 3's much anticipated September 25 release, as the gaming and mainstream press will be able to get their hands on Xbox 360's biggest video game yet before it hits the shelves. This upcoming week, September 9 to 13, Bungie Studios will open its doors to the press with Halo 3's complete version.

In continuous 24-hour gaming sessions, one representative from each media outlet will have access to everything the game has to offer - from its campaign and multiplayer modes, to other features and special content exclusive to Legendary and Special editions. They'll be restricted by non-disclosure agreements though, and won't be able to give their word about Halo 3 until September 23.

Those who've got what it takes to be admitted can drop by Microsoft's joint in New York or at Bungie's headquarters in Kirkland Washington. Microsoft is sponsoring the event, so publications breaking embargoes would probably suffer from more than just blackballs.

I just read at Gamesradar.com that Fran (from OXM) was the first to play Halo 3. At the site it tells how she got picked and what she did.
