Microsoft announces Summer of Arcade with slew of games, 100,000 MS Point promo |
Ó
It looks like Microsoft is pulling out all the stops in making the rest of summer feel like an Xbox Live joyride. Microsoft has announced a slew of upcoming releases, even coming out with a 100,000 MS Point promotion. First off, let's talk about the games. Kicking off the celebration on July 30 will be Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2., costing 800 Microsoft Points. This will be followed by Braid on August 6, Bionic Commando: Rearmed on August 13, Galaga Legions on August 20, and Castle Crashers on August 27.
For those who want to test their luck as well as try out some new games, Microsoft also has a 100,000 MS Point giveaway. All you have to do (check the eligibility rules first!) is play the trial or full version of the game, and you're automatically entered into the drawing. The first prize: 100,000 MS Points, an Xbox 360 Elite, and a 12-month Gold subscription card to Xbox Live.
Additional details on the individual games as well as a link to the contest rules and prize info can be found at the source link below. Enjoy your new games, and good luck with the drawing.
