Microsoft announces new Xbox 360 wireless mic

Microsoft has announced a new wireless mic for the Xbox 360. According to the press release, the mic will be compatible with Lips, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3: Senior Year as well as the upcoming titles Lips: Number One Hits and The Beatles: Rock Band.

Oh, and remember that patch that was supposed to make Lips mics work with Rock Band 2? These new mics are the same deal. They'll only be compatible with Rock Band 2 when this feature is patched in via an Xbox Live title update.

The new mics come out this fall. The estimated retail price is US$ 49.99.

another addon?



i dont see the point of this......especially if it needs a damn patch for RB2...its just like the other...but MS stamped on it and a higher price
