In war, there are no permanent friends or enemies, only permanent interests. The same goes for business wars. Microsoft may be the big superpower that the small fry are wary of, but it now shows an example that it can co-exist and even collaborate with old competitors.

This conclusion comes after it announced its partnership with old Apple pal Razer. Microsoft has paired up with the smaller accessory maker to bring gaming fans a mouse and keyboard that will serve them in their specific needs. The first child of this partnership was the Habu gaming mouse, which a lot of game media members liked. Now comes the Reclusa gaming keyboard to pair up with the Habu.

The Reclusa is more than just a fancy, oval keyboard. It also has LED backlights to help gamers see when it's dark and supports Xbox 360 jog dials. Macro keys are mounted on the sides to provide optimum triggers when firing away in online shooters.

Both the Habu and the Reclusa will go against some stiff competition when they hit the market, though. Established brands such as Logitech and Timber Wolf are already in the field. We'll see how this alliance fares when it hits a plane where dominant opposition dwells.
