Micro Center rebates $ 100 off Xbox 360 purchases

It's not the tax rebate I've been begging for, but hey, we here don't look gift horses in the mouth either. Last time Micro Center had a $ 100.00 rebate offer for Xbox 360s, it only applied to Columbus, Ohio. Then reader Terry Devore spotted this in floating in the web somewhere. The mail-in rebate's BAAAACK!

They got one for the Core Sys too!

Well, nothing about location-specifics in this rebate - even checked the mail-in form, which is in a lovely downloadable PDF format for easy printing@home (God, we hope there isn't some fine print we're missing in this announcement...). This is a rebate for in-store pickups purchased between November 12 and December 3 of this year.
  • Xbox 360 Core System, SKU 541771, UPC # 882224035835, and
  • Xbox 360 Premium System, SKU 892778, UPC # 882224035811
And since it's an in-store pickup, you might want to see of one of these nearby MC stores have a few 360s running loose:

Sorry if you live in Walla Walla, WA?

Let's just hope it doesn't involve a cross-country trip. Via link takes you to Micro Center.com where you can grab their PDF rebate form for either the Core or the Premium, and instructions on how to get your $ 100.00 back from your 360. And please don't forget to read the fine print (God, we hope we didn't miss any fine print, too...). Thanks for the tip, Terry!

This isn't news... Stick to what you are, a gaming NEWS blog. Leave the deals to deals sites.

I've been kicking around the idea of getting a 360, and this just make my decision much easier. Thanks!

For those who don't have a 360 and frequent the site, maybe this would be GOOD NEWS to them? How about if you don't like a post, you ignore it and move on? Leave the criticism to professionals.
