Metal Gear Solid: Rising shows up at the Marketplace |

There has literally been nothing on Metal Gear Solid: Rising since its announcement last year, which is why it was a bit of a surprise for this small boxart image to show up on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Does this mean Raiden will make an appearance at E3?
The new image has been subsequently removed from the Marketplace, which probably means that we'll be seeing it again officially at another time - most likely E3. The appearance of new media about Metal Gear Solid: Rising might mean that more is in store come expo time.
The game, also coming to the PS3, will be Raiden's solo adventure. It appears he still has his wicked sword, probably still has his bite marks, plus what looks like a rail gun on his back, and he looks like he's got more machine on him than we last saw. At any rate, we'll be waiting for the E3 press briefings for this one.

At this point, the 'Metal gear solid' title is more like a brand, a brand that lets you know whatever this game will be like, it's going to be top quality and bloody epic.
Got my E3 timetable all laid out so I can live stream it all over next week
