Mattrick: Buy Kinect this week or lose out on it this holiday

kinect-bundleMicrosoft's advice for those who really, really, really want - nay, MUST HAVE - a Kinect this Christmas: order one right now. As in this week. If you don't you'll run the risk of not being able to pick up any on the market come next month.

 

 

This advice (or warning, if you want take it as that) came from Don Mattrick of Micrsoft at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco. According to him, "by the end of this week" would be the best time to grab a Kinect or grab none at all.

 

 

Hmmm... but I thought they guaranteed recently that there will be enough stock to cover for the holidays. Was that all just a ruse then? Will you be heeding his advice and go panic-buying for a Kinect?

i believe there will be a difficulty in keeping stock available for kinect. there may be some merit to this doomsday warning, but am sure you'll be able to pick it up somewhere. with a bit of luck and lots of fairy dust.

try being realistic, its a ps eye with advertising as a motion gaming divice, and they cant keep that in stock smh,wayto get people to buy it as soon as possible lol, ps move doesntsell fast but atleast they dont make up some bsand over price theyre stuff, pseye 40 bucks kinect 150 bs damn

Kinect is actually pretty cool if you play it, but I gotta admit it needs better games other than adventure and dance central they were actually fun :lol:

The Wii is the only system that will continue to sell out every christmas. With exciting new games like donkey kong returns and super mario all stars, you'd be a fool not to pick up another.
