Commander Shepard does love his show game tunes. In fact, all of us will be given the chance to enjoy over an hour of music taken from the Mass Effect original soundtrack.
Sumthing Else Music Works Inc. - the same guys who brought you the Gears of War soundtrack album - will be releasing the Mass Effect's soundtrack tomorrow, November 20 - that's the same time the game itself will be released!
So, before you head on out to the stores tomorrow, make sure you have enough greenback in your already-cash-depleted wallets (coming from last week's releases, that isn't surprising). You might end up buying BioWare's game and its soundtrack on one go.
If you've been a fan of Dune or Blade Runner, that Mass Effect OST will go a long way. The game's music, composed by Jack Wall and Sam Hulick, was inspired by those movies after all. Think 80s electronic music, woven into modern orchestral arrangements. Epic much?
The soundtrack will also feature additional tracks from Richard Jacques and David Kates.
