If you've been keeping tabs on the yet-to-be-released Xbox 360 version of Epic Games' Unreal Tournament 3 (Xbox 360, PC, PS3), then you might have caught wind about the last rumor update about its release date. Now, we get word from Mark Rein himself about just what really is the deadline of Unreal Tournament 3 for the green Microsoft juggernaut, and the final answer is that he doesn't have one.
Yes, the fate of the highly-anticipated Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament 3, in fact, does not have a definite release date nailed down - a confirmation that flies in the face of the optimistic rumors floating round. Mark Rein's statement, verbatim:
We don't have a specific release date yet. Right now we're finishing up the European PS3 version.
Here's hoping that the guys over at Epic Games wrap things up quickly, so we can enjoy yet another high-quality First Person Shooter title for our next-gen consoles. Updates as we get them.
