Major Nelson makes Achievement Unlocked tone available

This has got to be one of Major Nelson's more... uncharacteristic posts. After being deluged with requests from his readers for the Achievements Unlocked tone, he's giving it to them, straight from the Source, no background noise or whatever to distort the signal. No, really, he is. (So as long as it's for a personal, non-commercial use only, he warns)

It is the tone Gamerscore addicts hear when their long and winding efforts to unlock Achievements have been fulfilled. It is the anthem of and salute to the self-gratification, the status-craving, the "I'm king of the world!" feeling that is at the heart of the entire Gamerscore/Achievement addiction. That is, if the Score is your thing.

Other than that, for its low audible profile, it makes a great discreet message alert tone (which is the tone's purpose in Xbox Live, anyway: "You've got an Achievement").

Buddy Yes we may play a completely differant console from you but have you got a reason why we are pathetic. I have had my Xbox 360 Since September Last Year And I Have Loved It From The Beginning. Until I Get A Reason Go To Fck And Dont Talk Bull K Buddy =)

Fck exactly, Are they so sad they go to the extremes as to go on the opposite part of the blog and bash or try to bash owners who have spent a bit of dough on an Xbox. Sad isnt it?
