Major Nelson and Rainbow Six Vegas face-mapping |

If you've ever wondered how Major Nelson's going to look like in an Xbox game, that's just one of the many consequences of Ubisoft deciding to use the Xbox Live Vision Camera with Rainbow Six: Vegas... which is basically the first thing the Major did when loading up R6V multiplayer, and that is to get his head in the game. Literally.
All it takes, says the Major, is a couple of shots: a head-on face shot and a side shot, and the software crunches the data and after a couple of minutes, spits out what, hopefully, is your head (a lot easier than fiddling with sliders, don't 'ya say?). What really rocks, gameplay-wise, is that the Major instantly recognized who his teammates were, instead of having to hunt down for their gamertags.
Here are the Major's Flickrs of the Major in action (no pun intended) in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas. We also borrowed an earlier Flickr which features his real face for a side-by-side comparison.
