A month ago, we reported the perky news that Microsoft has decided to offer free Madden guides. These freebies came in the form of pdf files which aims to show you strategies for offense and defense, and the plus and minus sides of each tactic; the best part of that is there's no money involved.
But now, EA recently unleashed video strategy guides for Madden NFL 07 and NCAA 07. The five-minute tutorials for Madden NFL 07, unlike the mentioned Madden guides, will cost you 160 MS Points or $ 2. Here is a complete list of those tutorials:
- Madden NFL 07 Video Strategy Guide - Run Defense (720p) – 160 Points
- Madden NFL 07 Video Strategy Guide – Pass Defense (720p) – 160 Points
- Madden NFL 07 Video Strategy Guide - Passing (720p) – 160 Points
- Madden NFL 07 Video Strategy Guide - Running (720p) – 160 Points
Aside from that, you could also purchase a whole new playing field to the tune of 300 MS Points. If you're a big fan of Shaun Alexander and the Seattle Seahawks, then you can purchase the Madden NFL 07 Seattle Seahawks Classic Stadium. But if you're into the nostalgia stuff, you could be roughing it up in the classic Los Angeles Rams Classic Stadium which is now also available for download. These content is not available in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Singapore, and Taiwan.
Two or four bucks may seem like peanuts to most but for a game that would cost you almost 60 dollars, we don't think that you should be burdened by more download expenses. Is EA ripping us off? If that's the case, whatever happened to the adage that the customers should always be the first priority? Tell us what you think through your comments.

Isn't it enough that we pay $60 for the (mediocre) game? Then you charge us $2.50 for tiny crap that obviously could've been included in the game? No doubt they had these created either before or around the time the game was completed, and they just held onto them for this sh*t.
FU*K YOU EA! I'm done with all EA sports games, Madden is crap now that there is no competition, and it'll only get worse.
