Just as Capcom has promised some time last month, the first Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Multiplayer Map Pack is now available at the Xbox Live Marketplace. Downloadable for 400 MS Points (that would be about US$ 5), the map pack is about 161MB, and will contain the two areas known as "Radar Field" and "Island 902."

"Radar Field" has been described as a close quarters area where players can duke it out, up close and personal. Meanwhile, "Island 902" is the complete opposite, and offers much leg room and features several interconnected islands as well as a number of underwater areas.

We'll now be looking forward to more packs, in anticipation of the day that Map Pack 2 or Map Pack 3 will come out with the formerly-exclusive map "Battlegrounds" ("formerly-exclusive" because it's soon to be available to other players who didn't buy the Collector's Edition of the game, which was where that map originally appeared) so that all Lost Planet fans can enjoy it.

An good example for another Playstation fanboy ...

You don't know how much I hate guys like you. Nobody than a PS fanboy would say something against Lost Planet. Go somewhere else, but don't bother around in the 360 corner. 5$ are maby a lot of money for 2 maps, but they are really large.

Your sad, Home is awesome and you know it. Plus you don't have to buy a damn thing if you don't want and it still trumps XBOX Live in features and looks.
