Capcom's Lost Planet - Image 1 Last month, we covered the announcement of Capcom's Lost Planet: Extreme Condition and it's availability on the PC. This time, we've got juicy info on the features revealed after the recently released demo.

PC users that pimp out their beloved machines rejoice, as Lost Planet: Extreme Condition will be the first to use NVIDIA's GeForce 8 series and Microsoft Vista's DirectX 10. The game will feature Extreme High Definition (XHD) support with up to 2560x1600 resolution, higher resolution special effects, and improved lighting and shadows.

DirectX 10 coupled with NVIDIA GeForce 8-series GPUs should be able to produce a better looking game out of this shooter with richer, realistic scenes, increased character detail, and more lifelike animations. Producer Jun Takeuchi of Lost Planet is pretty happy about the result, saying "NVIDIA GeForce graphics processors allows gamers to experience every amazing detail that Lost Planet has to offer."
