Last month, Capcom announced that they'll be releasing a sequel to Lost Planet, and they're making good on that promise. They just announced that they'll be releasing Lost Planet 2 as an Xbox Live title. They didn't provide details on a release date, but they did release a trailer. Watch it below (also available on Live):

The game will be produced by Jun Takeuchi, the producer of Resident Evil 5. The game will also need 435.62 MB of your hard drive.

» Finally!!

The 360 needs this game to remain competitive. How does Microsoft obtain these timed exclusive rights to such an awesome game?

» How?

Its all about the benjamins man. lol.

» I guess so....

This actually works well for me because I have Lost Planet C.E. on my 360 Elite so I'd like both games to be on the same console. As I write this I can hear SF4 C.E. on my 60Gb PS3 playin on my Sammy. Games have never been this good! Capcom Ftw!

Nope this isn't the game the 360 needs this year. The first game wasn't a big hype for this to even be a top seller. And M$ walks around with wads of cash in their pockets to feed the greedy.

» Hmmm

The first one sold more than a million units on the xbox360 alone.

Also, do remember that the game was launched at the end of 2006.

For its time this game was pretty amazing.

The word "also" makes me think that the game is going to require the original disc.... IDK... it just seems like it, seems like a huge game with only a 435.63MB file size. I know XBL requires games to not go over the limit... but still.

» yeah...

I'll be really impressed if they are doing all that with just 435 megs of data....

» limit

The limit for an Arcade title is 350mb, but the limit for a game or add-on is 2GB
