Microsoft's major player to sway hearts of Japanese gamers, Mistwalker and its role-playing games, has unleashed Lost Odyssey for the Microsoft Xbox 360 in Japan. For those who aren't in the land of the rising sun or can't import games, here's a new trailer to make you feel better.

Lost Odyssey revolves around the story of Kaim Argonar, an immortal who's lived for a thousand years. In the video below, we see snippets of different parts of his long life span. Or at least, there's a point when he's wearing pink glasses even if it doesn't seem likely he'll wear them the entire game.

The tandem of Final Fantasy's father Hironobu Sakaguchi and composer Nobuo Uematsu make it hard to believe this game isn't an FF title, given its style and music. You'll find out what we're talking about after watching the embed below.

I'm glad the 360 is getting some JRPG love instead of the stereotypical FPS/Action based games
