Is there a new DLC for Mass Effect being readied for an August release? BioWare has not said anything about it, but a listing on Xbox Live's new "Games on Demand" category (formerly known as Xbox Originals) did. Innocent slip-up? Making it more suspicious is the fact that it's already been pulled out since.

Here's what the listing said:

Download new systems and worlds to visit! Meet new characters and encounter never before seen alien species! Find new weapons, armor and items as you experience a whole new adventure!

And here's the actual screencap of the listing, in case you be doubting:

What say you? Could this be for a new DLC indeed, or it could it be just a re-spin for the Bring Down the Sky content previously released? BioWare co-founders Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka did say something about a second DLC back in E3.

It has been known since the beginning of this month that there is another episode coming in the form of downloadable content, to Mass Effect, LoL ..... It is said to be the final download for the game that bridges the gap between ME1 and ME2 when its released.

They mentioned it in the big OXM article on ME2(which shipped at the beginning of the month), and also brought it up again on one of the interviews held at E3.
