Left 4 Dead delayed, pushed back to Summer 2008 |

Left 4 Dead (Xbox 360, PC) that juicy and delicious zombie flick of a game developed by Valve and its newly-acquired Turtle Rock Studios, has already suffered its own share of delays, and now the game has been pushed back once again into a Summer 2008 release date, according to Valve. Left 4 Dead was previously tagged for a Q1 2008 release date, prior to the announcement.We know you're a bit upset with the sad news of a delay, and we can't help but feel the same as well. It's quite the neat zombie shooter that we're waiting for: co-op play, with lots and lots of zombies to plow through like you wouldn't believe. Yep, like in the videos here.

The game was technically ready last year, but the crew felt they could give it a lot more so they are. Its going to be one hell of a game. If you live in the Bellevue, Washington area, you could go in and try it out.

woah wtf does this have to do with RE? RE did not invent zombies if anything this is a rip of old movies like night of the living dead etc(excuse me if theres movies before those) but RE didn't invent the zombie and these are completely different games. Its like comparing Half life 2 to Ratchet and Clank no resemblance at all.
I've kinda decided that if Qk had a vote to kick off one member I'd vote for you. You're one of the few fanboys who plague the site, and clearly comment without knowing anything about a game. RE and Left 4 Dead aren't alike, and one main way they aren't is that L4D is a FPS...if I were to say it was as rip of anything it be Zombie Horde on CS:S, but it seems like it's going to be much more fun than that
