Awww... I wanted it to be a surprise.

There's been a leak, everyone! The latest victim of impatient leakers would be Bungie's latest iteration in the Halo universe, Halo 3: ODST. And there's a video to prove it.

JustinTV has the video up, with a cute little footnote:

Halo ODST!!! dont ask!!! just dont

And ask we won't. Anyway if you wanna check it out for yourself, just head over to the source link below. It looks like it's the French version, just as tipster edlaw07 said, although I did not really see the reported English subtitles.

Thanks to tipsters: Grant and edlaw07!

Damn, I need to just go ahead and buy an new Arcade (How much are they now??), so I can put CFW on the DVD drive and softmod it when that new homebrew solution comes out.

Of course, this would just be for single player games. I don't want to jeperadise my Live account. I don't think I would really miss the achievements earned offline, because I already have +10,000

reminiscent of the halo 2 leak on the original xbox, but no where near as epic...

i didn't plan on buying this game (a first for a halo game)... who knows maybe this will change my mind.

» It's french

the same one you said that Xbox won't ban people for playing a while back. It does have English Subtitles for most parts. Not for picking up "hidden packages" (audio) on the level though. Menu and everything else is English except for the opening video which is written in French

Games tend to get leaked early all the time idiots who play them online get punished though you have to be smart and use another account so you don't accidentally get achievements and such. I pirate games I don't want to support but I plan on getting a real copy of this, don't want to have to re mod my 360 either (or update the mod or whatever it is these pirates do)

» Not really true.

Hate to disagree with you but people play titles all the time early and never get punished, I know several people in fact. It's merely M$ who decides who to ban at times, its not 100% to be banned. Also playing on a different account on that same system won't help you. If your banned, its your console that gets banned. You don't need another account you need to be smarter than using another account and just unplug your ethernet and set the date every day of the luanch day of title, until the title comes out if your desprite to play a early title.

» um

playing a game early doesn't get your console or account banned. i've played plenty of games early while online, which means i have achievements with date stamps before launch.

the issue is making sure you actually have a copy that looks like a legit retail. that is hard to do for most as the verification can't happen until launch.

I'll wait for the English version. Since one of the only reasons I'm interested in this game is that Nathan Fillion voices Buck.(no idea how important that character is, but I hear employees at Bungie are Firefly fans so I hope there's something special about that character)

Other than that, it's just really another Halo game.
