Law and order: Contra, Heavy Weapon, and Totemball |
Ó
You're in for one heck of a wild ride in the next couple of months, because Xbox Live Arcade is serving up lots of goodies for all of you. In fact, it's going to look like boot scootin' season with all the action that you're going to be immersed in. Some ancient philosopher said (or maybe we're just making this up), "There is order in chaos," and with all the insanity of these games, we're going to try and put some order into it. Key word is "try."
Anyways.
Some of these games are going to be familiar for some of you, especially the first two. Contra (Konami) takes us back to all the war-bustin' chaos of trying to barrel through military bases where aliens and other strange beings jump at you. Heavy Weapon (PopCap Games) is getting high-def graphics to heighten your already-tense gaming experience as you fend off tanks, jeeps, jets, helicopters, and whatnot. Totemball (Freeverse Software), on the other hand, is something new, and will involve the Xbox Live Vision Camera so that you can play through the levels using your body.
Info-overload? We'll make it more chaotic. Here are the screenshots...
