Great news for fans of the Tomb Raider series, Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend has broken sales records of the Tomb Raider franchise, which has seen Lara Croft grapple her way to onto majority of the games charts at the number one spot. Lara Croft Tomb Raider entered the All Formats chart, PS2 chart, Xbox chart and Xbox 360 chart at the coveted top spot.

The only chart Lara failed to grapple her way to the top was the PC games chart, where she managed number two, just behind another Eidos published title: Championship Manager 2.

I've only played the 360 version, and it looks great in 1080i, but the game isnt that great imo, but im glad more action like titles are making a comeback, I'm getting sick of gore fests.

the only reason people bought this game is because little 14 year old boys want something new to whack-off too.

I thought Obivion was still number one in NA? Maybe it's European numbers. Either way, I'm glad people are giving TR another chance.

Jesus man Lara isn't even that detailed or special looking enough to make that the reason to get the game.

Have you tried the demo? Do you like action + puzzle games like PoP? If so, then you'd enjoy this game for what it offers--a pure old school single player 3rd person action/puzzle/shoot 'em up.

Next thing you're going to say is that the only reason to play God of War was the tits...
