Rico Rodriguez of Just Cause must have a hard time moving around with all the artillery and equipments he constantly has. We just don't have any idea where he keeps his stash of 'goodies'! Another would be the always snazzy-looking hair - and that's while being pulled by the power no less than the Earth's gravity! Rico is an Action Hero if I ever saw one. So here's more of the "I-can't-believe-Rico-did-that-stunt-OMG" trailers from Xbox Live Marketplace.
The first trailer opens with Rico on a cool red motorbike. Hmmm...rarely do you see this guy not falling off something. So he rides off and....the bike he's on jumps off and out opens his black parachute. He then jumps onto a car's top and jumps on another (reminds me of 'ol Mario jumping off Goombas...weird). He then goes down the road, like a surfer dude. Gnarly. Then we see a car hitting another (nice physics, yeah). We see a mish mash of exploding-falling cars and motorcycles and our Rico jumping out just in time with his trusty parachute.
Next up is a boat ride opening for Rico and his parachute. He jumps, opens the parachutes and shoots at an airborne enemy. Then he does something that reminds me (no, not Mario) of Charlie's Angels 2 where the three girls jump and hang on a falling helicopter. If you thought that was a hoot, you should view this one. He hangs onto the tail of the helicopter, crawls to the front, and gets through the closed window.
He then jumps out of the helicopter, lands perfectly on a Faulkner and takes control of that. It then goes on a 360 degree forward spin and shows the beautiful landscape around it. Then we are shown a jet fighter which (we presume) he will also be able to control, going through cities on mach 1. He then (yep, you guessed it) jumps off, opens his chutes, and lands perfectly on top of a helipad.
Trailer 3. Ah, this one has a voice over. Verrrry nice. Ohm you see him falling through the sky. A culmination of the two earlier trailers, but better edited. Just Cause is a game that wants to mirror real life but at the same time, remind you that it's supposed to be a fun game. Where life and physics don't matter since you can do almost anything (as long as you have a parachute!). Let's wait for Game demo coming soon!
