French website, Esprit-pixel points directs our attention to this screenshot of the Xbox Live Dashboard, featuring the Dreamcast classic Jet Set Radio. Another premature reveal?

Jet Set Radio was originally released ten years ago (suddenly 2000 seems soooo long ago, doesn't it?) for the Sega Dreamcast console. It was considered to be the pioneer of cel-shaded graphics in video games. In 2002, it was re-released for the original Xbox, so seeing a revival of it on the XBL shouldn't really come as a surprise.

No official announcement has been made thus far, and by official, by way of official press release, not a screenshot on the Dashboard. We'll keep you updated on this.

Due to legal reasons, American ended up with the name "Jet Grind Radio", the real and original name is kept in Japan and PAL EU countries, here in the UK it's Jet Set Radio, which is what it should be, it rolls off the tongue better than Jet Grind Radio don't you think? Lol.

If they bring it to XBL why not PSN also?
I'd much rather stick to buying points and credit on one console rather than giving up money for both and having a certain amount of unusable credits left at the end.

Defintely buying it though no matter what happens, cannot wait, I honestly would love to play this game, music was superb and the graphics were some of the best around, cannot wait to play it if it does get released.

cuz XBOX is better then PS3 ? thats only my guess cuz I have about 350 games between retail and arcade for xbox and about 6 total for PS3.. so yeah.. I think all Dreamcast games should be re-released on XBOX360

Sega's been working with M$ since the first Xbox because even the console was designed around the Dreamcast and never really done much with Sony, so was obvious M$ would eventually get more Sega titles as exclusives.

Look at the front of your Dreamcast (Shame on you if you got rid of it!)... Its powered by WinCE. So since at least 1997 or 1998 SEGA and Microsoft have been working together in some capacity.

I'm very much glad to hear this! hahaha. I was bothered with the post stating it was ported to xBox when indeed it was a different game.

I always felt that JGR/JSR would have been good on the wii, though I'm glad it is on xbox.
