Japan - PSP sales surge thanks to Dissidia: Final Fantasy - Image 1I can't believe I'm writing about news from Jay Leno's tiring comedy routine, much less a shot at George Bush (like shooting fish out of a barrel), but it's a slow news day so what the hell.

In a recent episode, Jay Leno did a little Photoshopping gag on President Bush's official portrait at the National Portrait Gallery, placing an Xbox 360 controller in his hands.

Kinda a jab at gamers, but it's still funny. Take it as evidence that violent games really do make gamers violent. Anyway, you can watch a vid of the gag at Kotaku after the source link.

true that Issac

Bush is one of the most violent tyrants in the world, but greed, not videogames made him that way.

bah

I just got out of a long heated debate with my father about george bush sr. and jr. it seems no matter what I do I cant escape hearing about this man, I really shouldnt be commenting on this topic as angry as I am at the moment. But in short you can photoshop a halo over the devils head and show him kissing babys while donating money to cancer research and it doesn't make him any less the devil. The point is. no one wants to see, hear, or talk about bush because he is a hated and despised man, and you can photoshop all the funny light hearted humor you want into the pic and it doesn't validate the subject matter. Everyone is waiting with baited breath to see the last of this ***** on january 21'st Why would anyone even want to discuss him. Shadowprophet, American...

actually

he really isn't that bad... nowhere near hitler, hell he didn't even have anything on saddam. that statement would be valid had he openly killed thousands of his own people... you know what i mean, sending soldiers to fight and die doesn't count.... most leaders have done that. it's not bush, it's his political party it's religious ideology... greed is just the icing on the cake. and "fish out of a barrel"? isn't it "fish in a barrel"?

...

wow chill there. It's true Bush is by no means a great leader, but he sure isn't a tyrant. He simply followed a flawed idealist policy created by Woodrow Wilson a century before, attempting convert the world to democracy. Yes his popularity is low, but to compare him to the likes of a dictator is taking it way too far.
by Dcoz - 2008-12-29 11:53:42
he didn't openly kill thousands of his own people...

but we all know he had a hand in the happenings of 911.

Hey, Dcoz

Shut the f*ck up, you ignorant whore.
by Mister Common Sense - 2008-12-29 14:26:35
no, but.....

I'm sure bush and chenney were happy 911 happened, because that gave him permission to start any wars they felt like if the supposed reason was stopping terrorism. It also let them violate and rape the bill of rights. For presidents, war equals $$$$ in their pockets, at the expense of thousands dead.

.

Thank god the president doesn't have the authority to kill off his many enemies, because I'm sure he would. Bush had to know the potential casualties of sending America to war, and he would have to be completely stupid to think Saddam was any kind of threat. No, he isn't that stupid, he's just an evil greedy a$$hole. That is what makes him an evil tyrant, and why the vast majority of the world hates him. Bill Clinton was impeached for possibly the stupidest reason ever, while Bush is laughing all the way to the bank with the billions he made destroying others' lives.

by rollypoly - 2008-12-29 23:05:56
@MrCS

i think you give bush more credit than he deserves. the man is a figure head, nothing more... now that i think about it, what you are really saying is that what he represents (the religious right) is evil and tyrannical... and that i cannot argue. clinton was impeached because he LIED under oath... not because he screwed around with some chubby intern. if he had just come clean, he would of never of been in that position.
by rollypoly - 2008-12-29 23:10:16
9/11 did none of that

we (the american people) gave him that power out of fear. some murderers killing thousands of people didn't change our laws, we did. don't use him as a scapegoat for that...
