Rob Loftus, Sierra Senior Producer, talked to IGN about their upcoming Xbox 360 title F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) and mentioned a lot of interesting things about it. For instance, the FPS has elements of the paranormal which adds the Creep Factor to the game. It has futuristic weapons including the Penetrator - a gun that shoots metallic spikes that literally staples opponents against the wall. The game's got great sound effects. It also has gory visuals. And best of all, F.E.A.R. supports multiplayer and will be available on Xbox Live. The game will be available this November but have no F.E.A.R, you can watch Loftus' interview right now.

I'm getting a little worried about every game that comes out is a fps, but I do love the horror type ones. Fav type of movies and getting to be a great way to make the games more enjoyable. Nothing like a creepy game in complete darkness not knowing what's around the corner or thru the door. All you know is you have a big gun that can usually take out the creepish oger that's about to pounce
