Hydrophobia - Image 1

We've gone with hardly any news about Dark Energy Digital's Hydrophobia for almost a year, and now that the developers have finally deigned to lift the veil from their water physics-heavy horror/puzzle game, what they've revealed is a bit of a doozy.

As revealed in a Hydrophobia preview from Xbox 360 World UK, the formerly Xbox 360, PS3 and PC game is now heading to XBLA. It'll be released in the form of three episodes "of around five hours each, to be released within a twelve month window." Reportedly nothing has been scaled down to fit the game for the download route, though.

The switch to XBLA also brings some changes to the game. Leaderboards have been added, for one. The first episode is divided into three acts, and in between each act players are scored according to completion time, accuracy, health, environmental takedowns and stealth. You can read the whole preview at the source link below.

The game wasn't that grat to begin with. The only good thing about that game was the water effects.

Everything looked like a game form last gen.

And if the game can be released as XBLA game, it can't be that good if it doesn't even deserve a full retail disk.
