Hori Arcade Stick For Old School Xbox Live Arcade Titles

horiThe wireless controller of Xbox 360 may be performing well on next generation Xbox 360 titles but old school Xbox Live Arcade titles such as Pac-Man, Frogger, Street Fighter HFE and Galaga are showing the standard 360 controller's flaws. One player who goes by the name Rivithead claims that in Frogger, the D-pad is not rendering accurate movements to the character as it should be. "I experienced some frustration in Frogger, dying from hitting the water at times when my thumb ran across the Xbox 360's D-pad to try to make a sudden movement or get home in time".

He then suggested using an alternative to the game pad on the Xbox 360, the Hori Arcade Stick. He claimed that the joystick controls were more accurate and had less slip-ups on getting Frogger home. Also, the large buttons are easier to hit  to improve fights on games like Street Fighter.

We sugest that you try using different controllers and compare the advantages and disadvantages that each controller provides. Then choose the controller that best suits your gaming needs.

I had one since doa came out and it's not bad. Definetly the best control out for 360 when it comes to live arcade and especially SF.

had this stick from the day it came out, it is so good. I knew it would come into it's own with sf2 and it's perfect.
